A quote in the customer's hands before you've left

WhatsAppWeb App

The first clear quote usually wins the work. With WaPay you send it from WhatsApp in a few seconds: the customer name, the price and what the work is. WaPay turns that into a quote with your details, the VAT worked out and a 14-day validity.

Your customer gets it on WhatsApp with Accept and Decline buttons. When they accept, WaPay tells you straight away and suggests a time from your working hours, so the job is booked without a round of texts. The web app keeps every quote in one list, with its status, so nothing goes quiet without you noticing.

Send on WhatsApp, track in the web app

Quotes are created on WhatsApp. The web app is where you see every quote, its status, and send any drafts.

  1. Open your WaPay chat and tap Menu → Send Quote.
  2. Reply with the customer name, amount and what the work is, e.g. Linda Tolan R8,500 bathroom tile + grout. A voice note works too.
  3. Check the quote WaPay builds and send it.
  4. Your customer taps Accept or Decline. You hear back on WhatsApp either way.

The amount is the total the customer pays, VAT included. Quotes are valid for 14 days.

What happens after you send a quote

  • Your customer accepts or declines with one tap in WhatsApp
  • You're notified the moment they answer
  • Acceptance starts a booking: WaPay suggests a time from your working hours
  • Quotes expire after 14 days and WaPay lets you know
  • When the job is done, raise the invoice from the booking in one tap
  • Every quote is kept in the web app with its status and history

Quote questions

How does my customer accept a quote?

The quote arrives on WhatsApp with Accept and Decline buttons. One tap answers it, and you're told straight away.

How long is a quote valid?

14 days. If it hasn't been accepted by then it expires and WaPay lets you know, so you can follow up or send a new one.

Can I create a quote in the web app?

Not yet. Quotes are created on WhatsApp, by text or voice note. The web app lists every quote with its status and can send drafts.

Do quotes include VAT?

Yes. The amount you give is the total the customer pays, and WaPay works out the VAT from your default rate. VAT is only added once your VAT number is saved.

What happens when a quote is accepted?

WaPay suggests the first free time from your working hours for you to accept or change, then offers it to the customer. Once the job is done, you raise the invoice from the booking.
